My little princess turned 2 on June 11. We had an evening birthday party our house, with special visitors Nan and Pa (Katrina's Mum and Dad).
Susanna opened presents as soon as she got up. When I carried her into the front room, five of her brothers were lined up ready, and burst into a hearty "Happy Birthday":
I made a banana cake for the birthday cake, and Katrina iced it with Maisy (a particular interest for Susanna at the moment):
Katrina put on some music yesterday afternoon, and turned around to see Susanna (almost 23 months!) playing on her "violin". She has four older brothers who are learning the violin -- David, Matthew, Philip and Daniel -- so she's seen them playing. I started the trick with this instrument, however, and she has been delighted to copy it.
Susanna wears her Winnie the Pooh outfit, courtesy of the (no Mac) Mack family. The outfit was perfect today, with temperatures reaching 30 degrees C.

Susanna attended her first Christmas Day celebration today. Here she is sampling the products of the day.

The little lady of our house is growing well, sleeping well (but not at night!), and interacting more with her world. Here she is at 5 months.

Susanna is here enjoying the jolly jumper. Some of our children -- David particularly -- really enjoyed bouncing around in the jumper; this is Susanna's first experience thereof, and the smile says it all!
