Family friends Roger and Gwenda Smithies welcomed their sixth child, and second son, Jonathan Roger Smithies into the world on Sunday November 30. Congrats team! We're delighted to hear that Jonathan arrived safely, and glad that you're filling up that new 9 bedroom home you purchased recently!

Marg Birse, Michael's aunty, demonstrated her continued proactivity in getting the Christmas letter out the door weeks before Christmas rolled around. Great to hear from you Marg, and merry Christmas to you, Keith and those two lovely young ladies in your house.

Mum & Dad Sampson come to Visit, Nov 26

Grandad Sampson visited here yesterday for breakfast, and then came again this morning. Unknown to the boys, however, was that Granbar Sampson was also coming today (having arrived on a 9.15am plane). Once Grandad was seated in the lounge with the boys, I told them to close their eyes, count to 5, and then I had a surprise for them. Boy did their eyes pop out when Granbar appeared ... I should have had my camera.
