Katrina Gets Her New Kitchen, Mar 30

We went out to Greendale last night to check on the placement of the concrete pads for the woodshed and pump house (yes, thanks to Chris, they were in the right place). However, as a tremendous surprise to us all, the excellent team down at Trends Kitchens had also installed Katrina's self-designed, hugely awesome kitchen. Now there's room for all to work, not just one person!

Tim Makes a Mess, Mar 30

Okay, so we've been trying to sell the house ... and therefore keep it tidy. Now that we have a firm offer, Tim decided to make up for lost time. Here's the result of his "mess making" yesterday.

A Long Shot, Mar 20

Here's a view of our new home from the Greendale domain ... the water tank went in a week or two back, the garage is due to go in next week (in front of the water tank), and the driveway in mid April. We should be able to move in during mid-late April. Needless to say, we are all looking forward to it. Don't those mountains look marvellous!

We Get an Offer, Mar 12

We received a verbal and then a written offer on our home in Neville Street from Mike, an investor, with a confirmation date of Friday 20 March. Hurray! We were planning on listing with an agent that afternoon ... what great timing. God is awesome!

Classic Comment of the Day, Mar 13

Dad: "David, please come for lunch" (for the third or fourth time)

David: "Why do we have to have lunch so often?"

Dad: "But we only have lunch once a day".

David: "Yes, that's over 300 times per year!"

Bricks On, Feb 26-27

Wow ... we went to see the new house on Wednesday night (Feb 25), and the bricks were still on the palettes. By Friday lunch time, they were all up. The brickies apparently worked from 6.45am-7.00pm on Thursday 26th, and then finished off on Friday 27th. Amazing work! It looks great ... well done team.
