Mum Sampson Reads "Little Bear" to Four

Here's my Mum, after a walk for an hour or so, reading to four of the boys. Tim's just got up from his afternoon sleep, so he's still wearing his PJs.

Mum & Dad Sampson come to Visit, Nov 26

Grandad Sampson visited here yesterday for breakfast, and then came again this morning. Unknown to the boys, however, was that Granbar Sampson was also coming today (having arrived on a 9.15am plane). Once Grandad was seated in the lounge with the boys, I told them to close their eyes, count to 5, and then I had a surprise for them. Boy did their eyes pop out when Granbar appeared ... I should have had my camera.

Tim's Eating at the Table Now, Nov 21

It looks like Tim has migrated from his highchair "King's Throne", to the table. Katrina says he sits at the table, stays there, and eats nicely. Oh well, it had to happen sooner or later.

Hillary and Tenzing, Nov 19

The boys are acting out the story of Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay, in their historic climb of Mt Everest. Matthew is Hillary, Philip in Tenzing, I think David is one of the men carrying the equipment, and Daniel is too, having turned down the opportunity to be the King of Kathmandu.
